Arsenal have suffered yet another injury blow amid their aspirations of dethroning Liverpool as Premier League champions.

Mikel Arteta’s men have already been battling with injuries in the opening stages of their campaign.

Star man Bukayo Saka only recently returned from a hamstring injury against Manchester City at the weekend after a few weeks out.

Kai Havertz has already undergone knee surgery following damage sustained on opening day, ruling him out for an unspecified period.

Defender Ben White missed the trip to Anfield through precautionary measures, and William Saliba has been hampered by an ankle knock that curtailed his return against Liverpool.

Midfield newcomer Christian Nørgaard is also yet to feature due to a minor niggle.

And it looks like another new signing could be out.

Arsenal insider Conor Harris, taking to X, has reported that Noni Madueke is set to undergo scans amid ACL fears:

“Noni Madueke had discomfort at half time in his knee?

Due to undergo scans todaywith  fears of a ACL [issue].

“If fears are confirmed likely to miss huge chunk of the season.”

“Hope he’s ok started so bright with us this season.”
