Arsenal are attempting to succeed where Premier League champions Liverpool have failed - keep one of their stars away from Real Madrid.

Speaking about his affection for Arsenal recently, Lewis Skelly said: “For me personally, I’m a fan of the club so you’re watching it on TV, going to the games and in your mind you always wanna get to where they’re at.
You’re just playing, you’re just enjoying it and see where it takes you.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta remains a big fan.

Away from Lewis-Skelly’s new deal, Arsenal are also attempting to add new faces to their squad to reduce the gap to Liverpool.
