Arsenal have been told that one of their first-team stars will show their unhappiness in the near future with his agent trying to force a move.
It was an extremely busy summer transfer window for Mikel Arteta’s side, who spent well over £200million in an attempt to close the gap to Liverpool.
Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze, and Noni Madueke all made the move to the Emirates, along with a number of other signings.
However, it has left Gabriel Martinelli further down the pecking order at Arsenal, with the likes of Madueke and Eze being preferred so far this season.
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that Martinelli will become unhappy with his lack of game time.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted that Arsenal are suffering from having two quality players in every position.
Martinelli did score against Athletic Club in the Champions League, but has started neither of the last two games for the Gunners.

Wyness added that the Brazilian’s agent will be saying that he needs a move away for game time in what is a World Cup year.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “This is a perfect example of Arsenal having two quality players in each position right now, and that leads to somebody being unhappy.
That’s obviously what every manager would love to have, and players really doing well.
But of course, the agents are going to then say, My player needs to move because he’s not going to get game time, and there’s a World Cup year next year, so he’s got to play.
“Look, as I say, it’s a symptom of the quality of the squad that Arsenal have got.
You can’t keep a happy camp that way.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal are facing a delay in tying centre-back William Saliba down to a new contract, sources have told Football Insider.

Over the summer, Saliba was linked with the likes of Real Madrid, who are long-term admirers of the French international.
Now, the Gunners have reportedly offered the 24-year-old a new deal, and are accelerating negotiations to try and ward off any interest.
However, sources say that a big contract extension like this will take time to finalise, meaning that the north London side are unlikely to see a conclusion to the situation in the immediate future.
