Arsene Wenger has hit back at Jurgen Klopp - and insisted the clubs are in favour of the Club World Cup.
Former Liverpool boss Klopp called the tournament “the worst idea ever invented” as he took aim at FIFA’s grand plan.

Wenger said: “I am going to give a very boring answer to a very interesting question.

“I feel a Club World Cup is needed.

Former Arsenal boss Wenger also defended the quality of the pitches in the United States as he said the tournament would remain every four years and praised the high levels reached by Paris Saint Germain ahead of Sunday’s final.

“We live in a world of passing, but the common thing with PSG is they are all dribblers.
