Liverpool are set for a big summer, with a number of players expected to leave Anfield in the transfer window.
Darwin Nunez has been earmarked to leave Liverpool already with the Uruguay international once again struggling to reach the expectations many expected from the former Benfica star since joining the Reds in 2022.
As well as Nunez, Luis Diaz could also depart Liverpool with Saudi Arabian interest building in the 28-year-old attacker, with Diogo Jota also catching the eye of clubs from the Middle East heading into the summer.
And Fabrizio Romano has now shared Liverpool’s stance on selling one player this off-season who is now being rumoured with an exit from Anfield.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, the Italian transfer journalist shared how Liverpool is looking to sell Jarell Quansah despite growing interest from Newcastle United and teams from Germany leading into the summer.
Romano said on Liverpool’s stance on selling Quansah this summer: “It’s a possibility.
It’s not that Liverpool are trying to sell him, but the player is attracting interest with Newcastle and German clubs keen.”
Quansah was once hailed as ‘outstanding’ by Jurgen Klopp with the England international once again being a regular for the Reds this season, though Arne Slot’s use of the defender has been a bit more conservative compared to the previous campaign.

With Liverpool chasing Dean Huijsen, offloading Quansah could help the Merseyside giants bring in a good fee for the academy graduate, and a bid from Newcastle and Bundesliga sides could sway the Reds into offloading the centre-back.
Quansah has had a mixed season with Liverpool, with Slot clearly having an ideal centre-back pairing in Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate with the 22-year-old only handed minutes and starts either in cup games or when one of the aforementioned two are unavailable.
And with Liverpool in need of fleshing out their defensive ranks with quality options, selling Quansah if a big offer were to come in would be a sensible decision from the Reds, who could net a huge payday for the defender given his homegrown status.
Indeed, Liverpool know they can’t afford to be sentimental with some players this summer, and letting Quansah leave for a good offer whilst bringing in an upgrade via the market would be a decision that a lot of fans can get on board with.
