'Awful, ridiculous': Some Liverpool fans aren't happy about news coming out of Leeds United Liverpool fans feel that Leeds United have been harshly treated by the FA, after their appeal against Pascal Struijk’s red card was rejected.

Struijk being unavailable is a big blow for Leeds, given their dearth of central defensive options right now.

Leeds also have Diego Llorente and Robin Koch ruled out, which means Luke Ayling may have to come into a central defensive role on Friday against Newcastle United.

Leeds are still looking for their first win of the season, after failing to come out on top of any of their first four league games.

The Athletic reported this morning that Leeds’ had failed with their bid to get Struijk’s suspension overturned.

Even the Liverpool youngster has now came out and suggested that Struijk shouldn’t have been sent off for his tackle, though.

The centre back was given his marching orders, after his tackle led to Harvey Elliott sustaining a bad injury on Sunday.
