Michael Olise’s stellar form at Bayern Munich has sparked speculation about his future, with Liverpool and Manchester City reportedly monitoring the French winger’s situation ahead of a potential Premier League return.

The 23-year-old has been exceptional since joining Bayern from Crystal Palace, recording 20 goals and 23 assists in 55 appearances last season while being voted the club’s Player of the Season.

Recent rumors suggested Olise possesses a release clause in his Bayern contract, potentially making him accessible to Premier League giants.

However, Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund has remained tight-lipped about contract details, while reliable German journalist Christian Falk categorically denied the existence of any exit clause.

“The rumors about an exit clause in Olise’s contract are NOT TRUE,” Falk confirmed.

However, the BILD reporter did assert that Liverpool are definitely keeping an eye on the player, alongside Manchester City:

“It is TRUE: Premier League clubs have Michael Olise on their radar.

The Frenchman is currently in top form,” the Bundesliga insider wrote.

“PSG are interested in Olise, and as a Frenchman, he would fit perfectly into the Ligue 1 outfit’s philosophy.”

“But in England, too, there is annoyance that the player was not kept in the Premier League?

Only Newcastle made a serious effort, but lost the poker game against Bayern Munich,” he adds.

“Now, bigger clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City are also interested in Michael Olise

However, FC Bayern will not accept any offers.”

It is though that Bayern value Olise at €100 million and remain determined to retain their star performer, with his contract running until 2029.

Olise is not a player that will be coming to Anfield soon, but there is now constant noise that he will eventually return to the Premier League in some shape or form.

The France international seems to be one to watch for the future.
