Trent Alexander-Arnold suffered a nightmare Champions League debut for Real Madrid, coming off injured after just five minutes.

Alexander-Arnold, who'd only started two of Madrid's opening four games in La Liga, felt his hamstring in the early stages of their Tuesday's clash with Marseille at the Bernabeu.

His participation in the game against his former side, Liverpool, in the Champions League in less than two months is now in real danger.

Both sides will be hoping to qualify automatically, with Liverpool having topped the league phase last season.
