The future of two Liverpool stars could be impacted by a deal that Barcelona are reportedly close to completing.
The Reds have already been busy this summer, securing the signatures of Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Pecsi, and are also expected to complete a deal for Florian Wirtz tomorrow.
Liverpool also remained locked in talks with Bournemouth over a deal for Milos Kerkez.
While over in Spain, Barcelona are reportedly on the brink of securing the services of Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams.
The forward had been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, but it now appears, if reports from Spain are to be believed, that the Catalan giants have won the race for the 22-year-old.

The report claims that Barca are now in negotiations with their La Liga rivals to agree a fee for the Spain international to move to the Camp Nou.
But Williams isn't the only player to be wanted by Barcelona this summer.
As previously reported by the ECHO earlier this month, the La Liga giants made a move for Luis Diaz, but the Reds have no plans to sell the 28-year-old this summer.

But it still remains to be seen whether Barca will look to tempt the Reds into a deal by making an offer for the Colombia international.
While Barcelona's quest to sign Williams could go on to affect Gakpo's future at Liverpool.
Bayern Munich were also rumoured to be interested in signing Williams this summer but are said to have lined up alternatives.

Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg recently claimed that Gakpo is among the players under consideration by the German giants this summer.
According to the report, the Liverpool star is joined by Brighton's Kaoru Mitoma, AC Milan's Rafael Leao and Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola on Bayern's shortlist of left wide-forward targets.
If Williams does go to Barcelona, it could force Bayern to pursue an alternative target, which could see them turn their attention to Gakpo, if reports are to be believed.
