Luis Díaz, has entered the final two years of his contract amid growing uncertainty over his long-term future at Anfield.

The club has yet to initiate renewal talks, leaving Díaz “comfortable” to see out his deal but also open to evaluating offers from abroad.

Despite scoring 13 goals and supplying seven assists in last season’s title-winning campaign, Diaz earns a comparatively modest £140,000 per week – substantially less than key teammates – which has fueled frustration within his camp and spurred links to suitors.

Both FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich have had approaches rebuffed.

Barcelona’s bid was turned down over financial and registration concerns, while Liverpool informed Bayern that Diaz is “not for sale” at this stage.

Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr have also registered interest

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that he expects the La Liga giants to make new efforts for Luis Diaz in the coming days, making it a saga to keep an eye on this week:

With Liverpool reportedly valuing him at €80 million and weighing the benefits of cashing in while his market value peaks, Diaz’s future now hinges on whether the club opts to reward his performances with a new deal or capitalise on interest from Europe’s elite.

It has been reported that Diaz has already given his greenlight to Bayern Munich as well.
