There have been combinations such as Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, which delighted supporters for a time, but one trio of forwards was greater than the rest.
Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are one of the great trios in the history of the Premier League, with their output and teamwork second to none.
Their time playing heavy metal football under Jurgen Klopp made them a force to be reckoned with, and no one understood that more than rivals Manchester City.

A former member of their team, Eric Garcia, who now plays for Barcelona, had firsthand experience of the three greats, and he has attested to their quality.
During a day in the life video with Rodrigo Fáez, Garcia was asked about the toughest tests of his career.
He said: “Well, when I was playing at Manchester City, I distinctly remember playing against Liverpool’s incredibly talented Salah, the formidable Mane, the clinical Firmino.
“Honestly, all three of them could be at the top of that list.
That was the time when Liverpool were flying, literally unstoppable.”
It cannot be overstated how integral all three men were to the squad and to the success of Klopp in all competitions, but especially the league.
While they may have won only one title in the top-flight as a group, what they produced for Liverpool to make them competitive at every step in those City title races should not go unnoticed.
When it comes to future Hall of Famers in the first division, they should have their names side by side for everything they did to revitalise the Reds and put them back on their perch.
Salah still has yet more history to make as an individual in the world’s most difficult league, but the time spent with Firmino and Mane will be a huge part of his incredible legacy.
