Harvey Elliott is looking likely to be the next player on their way out of Liverpool.

At the moment, Caoimhin Kelleher and Nat Phillips are the only players to have exited Anfield, with both of them entering the final years of their Liverpool contracts.

And, while speaking live on talkSPORT, Darren Bent and Andy Goldstein were chatting about the future of Elliott, with Bent believing that £40million would be a steal.

“I just think that, for Harvey Elliott, if he is looking to leave and play regular football, at £40million that’s a bargain,” Bent said.

“He’s a good player.”

Although there’s no denying that Elliott is an exceptional talent, it feels harsh for Liverpool to keep him around next season.

And, seeing as though Elliott hardly cost the Reds anything to bring in all those years ago, anything the Englishman is sold for will be profit.

Only time will tell what the future holds, but at the moment, it’s hard to see a future for Elliott at Liverpool.
