Bayer Leverkusen looks to have rejected Liverpool's latest offer for Florian Wirtz, with the Reds looking to make their final bid soon - although a move still looks to be likely
Liverpool tabled a third offer for Wirtz on Friday, having already seen two bids turned down.
The latest offer totaled around $153 million (£113M) — around $135M (£100M) up front and up to around $18M (£13M) in add-ons.
According to the Daily Mail though, that has been turned down, with Leverkusen holding out for around $160 million (£118 million).
The German side is said to be resigned to losing Wirtz, but wants to maximize the fee it receives for him, having originally set an asking price of $171M.
