Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for Liverpool forward Luis Diaz after missing out on Florian Wirtz to the Reds.

The former Porto attacker has just two years left on his contract, and there has been no sign of an extension.

According to The Athletic, Bayern submitted a formal proposal to sign Diaz from Liverpool.

However, it was immediately rejected by the Premier League champions, who value the 28-year-old at upwards of €100m.
