Bayern Munich have reportedly made their first offer to sign Luis Diaz this summer.

The Bundesliga club recently became linked with a serious interest in Diaz.

According to widespread reports, Bayern are in the market for a winger, and the Colombian winger features heavily in their list of potential targets for that position.

Diaz’s Liverpool future has been the subject of much speculation lately after a breakdown in negotiations over contract renewal.

Liverpool are desperate to keep Diaz and have opened contract talks with the 28-year-old.

However, a recent report from Colombia revealed that Diaz and his entourage are unhappy with Liverpool’s offer, and so are currently looking at securing a move away from Anfield unless their terms are met.

Since then, there have been constant updates on the saga, with another recent report from German outlet BILD suggesting that Diaz had agreed on personal terms with Bayern.

On Thursday, another report from German journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed that Diaz has now taken it a step further and submitted a transfer request.

BILD has now provided the latest update on the transfer?

According to the German publication, Bayern Munich have now made their first move to land Diaz by submitting a €52 million offer.

“According to SPORT BILD, FC Bayern has reportedly made an initial offer for Liverpool star Luis Diaz (28),” the report said.

“This is reportedly 52 million euros – far below the 80 million euro transfer fee allegedly demanded by the “Reds.”

The report was also corroborated by chief BILD reporter Christian Falk, who posted on X, confirming that Bayern have indeed submitted an offer for Diaz, and that the 28-year-old is keen on joining the Bavarians.

“True, FC Bayern should have submitted an offer to Liverpool for Luis Diaz,” he wrote.

“Luis Díaz wants to join FC Bayern.
