Amidst all the excitement about Liverpool's new Nike kit being revealed, the transfer rumour mill continues to spin.

Bayern 'expect' Liverpool move

Thiago Alcantara - we're sure you know the name at this point.

According to German football expert Rafa Honigstein, who was speaking to Sky Sports, Bayern Munich are 'expecting' Liverpool to make a bid for wantaway midfielder Thiago at some point this summer.

The ECHO understands that Liverpool will not pursue the 29-year-old Spaniard, even though Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the former Barcelona man.

Earlier this week, Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge admitted that the player wanted to leave the Bundesliga outfit.

And today French outlet LeSport10 claimed that PSG could be set to table an offer for him.

Koulibaly price named

Kalidou Koulibaly, the Napoli defender. Another familiar one to gossip column regulars.

Haven't we been here before? Via the Metro, Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis has 'officially' set Koulibaly’s price, insisting the centre-back will not leave for less than £81million.

In the past, the fee has been said to be closer to £90 million, but even if it has fallen, Liverpool are highly unlikely to be in for him.

£81 million would be a record purchase for the Reds - and in a summer of financial uncertainty, that is highly improbable. The Senegalese is also 29 and Liverpool already have Joe Gomez.

Relegated Sarr

Ismaila Sarr, the Watford winger who has been compared to a young Sadio Mane at times this season.

Liverpool and Wolves are set to go head-to-head for the attacker during the transfer window, according to the Birmingham Mail.

Sarr caused Liverpool problems at Vicarage Road and could easily have scored at Anfield too. His price tag is said to be around £30 million.

Arsenal teenager linked

Arsenal youth prospect Folarin Balogun, who scored 10 goals in 15 Premier League 2 appearances for the Gunners' under-23s last season.

According to Sky Sports, Liverpool and Brentford are both keen on the 19-year-old forward, who Arsenal value at £8 million.

It is claimed that Balogun has refused to sign a new contract at the North London outfit and is happy to see out his current deal, which runs out in the summer of 2021.
