Having played in huge games at most of Europe's major stadiums, Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is excited to be able to tick Anfield off the list.

The Germany international will be between the sticks when Bayern visit Liverpool in the Champions League last 16 first leg on February 19.Neuer says he and his Bayern team mates are ready to deal with the hostile Anfield atmosphere in what looks like being one of the ties of the round.



Neuer told ESPN: 'It's the first game for me at Anfield.

Neuer has been a doubt in the build-up to the game, Bayern's No 1 struggling with a finger injury that kept him out of the last two matches.

The Bayern captain says the club physios are doing everything to get him ready in time, and he is confident he will be fit to play in the fixture.

Neuer, who won the Champions League with Bayern in 2013, has played every minute of this season's competition so far for the team, as they finished top of Group E unbeaten.
