Ben Doak in action for Liverpool

Ben Doak has been discussed by Leeds United as a potential winger target this summer.

The Scotland international - who has returned from a thigh injury that ruled him out for an extended period - has attracted interest from a number of English top flight sides in recent times including the likes of Crystal Palace and Everton.

The Athletic report the Elland Road outfit are pursuing new recruits for a number of key positions all over the park including wingers and Doak is one that they've expressed an interest in.

Liverpool have previously booted out offers in the £20million region but the same publication state he is valued around that figure now.

They are also said to be happy to keep him as a squad option with EPL, Champions League and domestic cup duty on the busy schedule if an offer doesn't meet that price range.

Doak has become a full Scotland international and is one the Tartan Army hold out major high hopes for.

He's one of the players in Steve Clarke's squad that can get bums off seats and he along with all those in Dark Blue will be desperate to see him playing regular first team football with the World Cup qualifiers on the horizon.

Scott McTominay - named in the 30-man shortlist for the Ballon d'Or - and his international colleagues travel to Denmark and Belarus in an away day double-header next month to kick off the bid to reach the finals.

Old foes Greece are the final team in the four group section as Clarke looks to replicate his Euros qualification success for the biggest competition in the world.

Last season while out on loan at Middlesbrough, Doak played 27 times before suffering his season ending injury.

He provided three goals and seven assists across his time at the Riverside Stadium.
