Man United collapsed to a 3-1 loss against Brentford on Saturday but Benjamin Sesko had a match to remember.
The Slovenian striker has taken his time adjusting to life at Old Trafford, failing to score in his first six appearances.
However, that all changed in Man United’s loss to Brentford on 27 September, after the 22-year-old bundled home from close range to make it 2-1 in the 26th minute.
And whilst the Red Devils slumped to their third Premier League loss of the season, Sesko will be delighted to have achieved something that puts him in the same category as club legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sesko was signed by Man United in the summer with a single task in mind: to take shots and score goals.
The Red Devils were outscored by the vast majority of the Premier League last season, with only Everton and the three relegated sides registering fewer goals than the 20-time champions of England.

It’s been slow going for the former RB Leipzig man so far, as mentioned above, but he seemed to finally find his feet against Brentford.
As revealed by Squawka on X, Sesko became the first United player since Ronaldo in September 2021 to have four or more shots on target in the first half of a Premier League match.
Sesko looks to have finally nailed down the striker position as his own.
Now, Ruben Amorim must figure out how best to facilitate for his young forward.
Bryan Mbeumo was a threat on his return to the GTech, but, on the contrary, Bruno Fernandes endured another frustrating afternoon for the Red Devils.
As shown here by Football Insider’s new statistics partner Opta, the midfielder appeared everywhere, and nowhere, flitting across the pitch without giving United any sense of stability in the middle of the park.
The 30-year-old may have scored his 100th goal for the club against Chelsea last week, but Fernandes failed to score from the spot against Brentford, highlighting his lack of confidence.
Without their captain being on form, United will always be at a disadvantage, as demonstrated against Brentford, and Sesko will be limited to the chances that he can create for himself.
