Bernardo Silva said there is "no excuse" for the VAR travesty that saw Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson escape a red card in the FA Cup final.
Henderson was lucky not to be sent off when he handled the ball outside the box, to deny Manchester City ’s Erling Haaland what looked like a clear goalscoring opportunity.
But Henderson received a let-off after a lengthy VAR review, despite images of the incident clearly showing the England keeper handling the ball outside of his area.
City midfielder Silva said: "You play in the best league in the world, teams work a lot to arrive at these stages and to perform.
"If we lose, it should be - for us or any team - because we don't perform well.
It shouldn't be like this.
When you have technology, there's just no excuse for the mistakes that happen.

"We could see that it was a really important game for their fans, for their players, so I don't want to mix things up.
"But when you have the technology and you still make these mistakes, not only in this game but in a lot of games that we see throughout the season, it just can't happen."
