Billy Gilmour has offered an injury update as he shared an image of his leg in a knee brace.

The Brighton star picked up the knock while on Scotland international duty with Steve Clarke and co as the national team fell to a big defeat away to the Netherlands before Northern Ireland dumped the Dark Blues at Hampden just days later.

He told the media: "Billy Gilmour can't play because he suffered a knee injury with his national team." The former Rangers and Chelsea kid has since given fans a glimpse into his recovery by sharing a picture of him watching Sky Sports' coverage with the caption "Good luck team" alongside a blue and white love heart emoji.
