Bournemouth midfielder Romain Faivre is set to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Tawouun in a season-long loan deal.
Andoni Iraola saw several exits from his squad this summer, as Real Madrid signed Dean Huijsen, while Dango Outtara joined Brentford.
However, the Cherries have enjoyed two wins from three Premier League games so far this term, including an impressive 1-0 win at Tottenham last time out.
Meanwhile, Ben Doak joined Bournemouth from Liverpool, and featured in his new club’s Carabao Cup defeat to Brentford last month.

After losing players like Illia Zabarnyi to PSG, Bournemouth successfully retained David Brooks despite interest from Crystal Palace.
Meanwhile, reporting via X on Wednesday, 10 September, Sky Sports’ Mark McAdam revealed: “Bournemouth have agreed a season long loan deal with Al-Taawoun FC for midfielder Romain Faivre.
“The deal includes an option at €10 million.
The 27-year-old is in Saudi Arabia now finalising the move before an official announcement.”

Faivre spent last season on loan with Brest, notching three goals and three assists in 32 appearances for the Ligue 1 club.
The news that Faivre’s loan move to the Saudi Pro League includes an option to buy is good news for Iraola, who clearly doesn’t have the 27-year-old in his plans.

Since joining the Cherries from Lyon in 2023, the midfielder has made just six appearances for the Dorset side, all of which came in the 2023/24 season.
While he performed well for Brest last term, even making eight Champions League appearances, Bournemouth will want to recoup a transfer fee by facilitating Faivre’s exit.
Iraola’s men already boast talented midfielders among their ranks, such as Tyler Adams and Alex Scott, who have ensured that Faivre’s opportunities have been limited.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth can continue their strong form in the Premier League when they host fellow South Coast outfit Brighton on Saturday, 13 September.
However, the Seagulls are also vying to retain their momentum after beating Manchester City 2-1 in their last game before the international break.
