Andy Robertson, who is currently seen as the club’s No.1 left-back, has reportedly said yes to Atletico Madrid, paving the way for Milos Kerkez to take his spot, and Kostas Tsimikas to remain as back-up.

Now, the signing has been confirmed as he becomes a new Bournemouth player.

Journalist for Le Parisien Sport, Benjamin Quarez, has broke the news that Bournemouth have signed Adrien Truffert from Rennes for a fixed fee of 13.5million euros plus 3.5million in add-ons.

Truffert has signed a 5 year contract with the Premier League club and has passed his medical.

It is likely that Bournemouth will officially announce the signing soon.

The Cherries were clearly waiting until they signed a suitable replacement before letting another star of their backline leave this summer, after their talented centre-back Dean Huijsen heads to Real Madrid.

It is expected that talks for Milos Kerkez will now accelerate, with Liverpool eager to bring the Hungarian to the club as he is viewed as a top signing for the Reds.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed earlier today that Milos Kerkez only wants Liverpool and has stopped listening to offers from other clubs.

The Italian journalist has claimed that Liverpool have almost verbally agreed a deal with the left-back.

The deal is expected to be completed soon due to the Florian Wirtz wrapped up, as it will bring the club’s full focus onto Kerkez and a new left-back will be arriving this summer for Liverpool.
