PSG had their substitutes to thank after staging a last-gasp comeback against Tottenham in the UEFA Super Cup.

The French side went into the Super Cup as heavy favourites, having dismantled Inter in the Champions League final last season.

However, substitute Lee Kang-in pulled one back late on, and Goncalo Ramos’ last minute equaliser sent the match to penalties, where a Nuno Mendes goal gave PSG the win.

Ousmane Dembele was shut down for the first 91 minutes of the match, but his stunning whipped cross picked out Fabian Ruiz for the equaliser.

Bradley Barcola – 8 – Player of the Match

Bradley Barcola has been linked with a move to Liverpool, and the French winger was dangerous throughout, until was forced off with an injury after finding the back of the net, but his goal was disallowed for an offside.

Substitutes

Fabian Ruiz (on for Kvaratskhelia 60?) – 7

The Spaniard added a touch of class in the midfield after coming on, adding tempo to a game that was losing its life.

Ibrahim Mbaye (on for Barcola 67?) – 6

The young winger added good energy to his side, even if his end product was lacking.
