A club like Liverpool continuously strives to win as much silverware as possible, and they will aim to do that in the new campaign.

Last season, despite being outstanding during the league phase, where they won seven out of eight games to top the table, the exited the competition in the round of sixteen stage to eventual trophy winners PSG.

Arne Slot’s men will be hoping to go further in the competition this time around.

As a result of the Champions League league phase fixtures and dates being confirmed, Liverpool’s visit to Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium has now been rescheduled.

After the second international break of the season, Liverpool are now travelling to Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday October 22nd for an 8pm kick-off.

Three days earlier than that they will have played Manchester United.

Following Liverpool’s trip to Frankfurt they then were set to face Brentford at 12:30pm on Saturday.
