Brighton is a well-known talent factory in the Premier League, with the South Coast club seemingly summoning talents out of nowhere each season.

When Moises Caicedo was sold to Chelsea for a British record of £115 million, neutral fans were wondering how they would cope with such a big loss.

However, Carlos Baleba has now stepped into this role with aplomb, with the Cameroonian midfielder now among the Premier League’s most coveted midfielders.

Liverpool have even been linked with the 21-year-old midfield stalwart.

But the Seagulls have likewise not been scared to sign veteran stars on free deals if it makes sense.

The club is keen to retain Milner’s wealth of experience and leadership, but it remains to be seen whether this would be as a player, a coach, or in a hybrid role combining both.

Injuries have limited his involvement this season with only 3 appearances, and he has spent much of this campaign sidelined following hamstring surgery.

Despite this, Brighton values his influence both on and off the pitch, with his professionalism and vocal presence proving vital in the dressing room.
