Kostas Tsimikas has been one of the many Liverpool players rumoured to be headed for an Anfield exit this summer.
In fact, Michael Owen even dubbed Tsimikas “brilliant” thanks to his performance against Crystal Palace last season.

And now, in an interview with Greek outlet Sport24, Tsimikas has opened up on where he sees his future heading.
“I’m happy here, for five years I’ve always been happy with these players I had next to me and with the jersey I wore,” he said.
“It’s very difficult to reach such a level, to play in 27 games in one season in a Liverpool shirt.
“If you think about it, not all players play 50 games, others play 50, others play 10, others play five.
“I think 27 games I’ve played on average over the last four years is a good number.
“I would definitely like to play more, but from then on in this league, with this team I was always happy and I always gave my best, so I was ok with the games I played.”

One of football’s worst-kept secrets at the moment is that Milos Kerkez is set to make the move to Anfield.
The left-back has been linked with Liverpool for some time now after having a breakout season for Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth throughout the 2024-25 campaign.

However, his arrival means that one of Tsimikas or Robertson will have to depart.
He’s also on more than double the wages of Tsimikas, so in the long run, it would help them save even more money, hence why Robertson should be the one to leave rather than the Greek Scouser.
Of course, things can change overnight in football, but with the way things are headed, Robertson feels like the more likely of the two to leave Merseyside this summer.
