Man United captain Bruno Fernandes was among the players to share a reaction to Marcus Rashford’s latest message amid speculation over a possible early return to Old Trafford.

Rashford joined Barcelona on a season-long loan earlier this summer, and while the deal includes an option to buy the forward, there have already been reports of an early exit.

Reports suggest Rashford faces the prospect of returning to Man United sooner rather than later if his performances don’t improve, which would cost them £4.3 million.

Barcelona had initially set their sights on Nico Williams before the winger signed a new contract, while they were also in talks with Luis Diaz.

They ultimately chose to bring in Rashford on loan.

For now, the forward is turning his attention to international duty, sharing a post on social media that drew reaction from teammates past and present.

Club football is currently on pause with international duty taking place, and while Rashford may not be in the best form, he was selected to start for England, as they beat Andorra 2-0.

He was in high spirits following the game with a passionate message on Instagram to say: “3 important points at Villa Park bringing us closer to our goal!

Great team performance, now it’s all eyes on Tuesday’s big game.”

His message saw numerous reactions with Man United players such as Bruno Fernandes and Joshua Zirkzee liking the post, joined by Jack Grealish, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and Noni Madueke.

England secured the victory through a Declan Rice strike and an Andorra own goal, and now turn their focus to Tuesday’s clash with Serbia (9 September).

They currently sit top of the group with a healthy five-point lead over Serbia in second spot and are edging closer to securing World Cup qualification.

While Rashford was among the many exits at Old Trafford this summer, Andre Onana has also been heavily linked with an exit.

Onana is in talks to join Trabzonspor on a loan deal with the Turkish transfer window closing on 12 September.

The Cameroon goalkeeper has struggled for minutes this season, with Ruben Amorim starting Altay Bayindir in the Premier League.

Man United also signed Senne Lammens on deadline day, which has pushed him further down the pecking order, making a loan move a serious option.
