Brentford are finalizing a deal worth up to £18 million ($24 million) to sign Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher this summer.

The 26-year-old Irish international, who has long sought regular first-team football, will replace Mark Flekken after the Dutchman’s €10 million (£8.4 million) transfer to Bayer Leverkusen/

Now Sky Sports have confirmed that a deal has been agreed between the two clubs and Kelleher will undergo a medical on Monday (today):

“Brentford have agreed an initial £12.5m deal with Liverpool to sign Caoimhin Kelleher,” Sky Sports Lyall Thomas reports.

“Performance-related add-ons could take the eventual fee to £18m.”
