Caoimhin Kelleher is expected to leave Liverpool this summer and Brentford is one of the teams to have taken a look at the Republic of Ireland shot-stopper.
Now, a deal could be a little bit closer with Brentford having agreed to sell current number one Mark Flekken to Bayer Leverkusen— the club that has just sold Jeremie Frimpong and could soon lose Florian Wirtz too — with Thomas Frank's side searching for a replacement.
According to Sky Germany, Brentford has agreed to send Flekken to Leverkusen for a fee of around $11.3 million (£8.4 million).
