Chelsea are reportedly keen on doing some of their summer at Liverpool, should reports be believed.

It is widely expected that the Anfield club focus on outgoings after securing priority targets in Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, and Milos Kerkez.

Cult hero Nat Phillips sealed a permanent switch to West Bromwich Albion this week on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old made just 19 Premier League appearances across his nine years at Anfield.

And another fringe face in Tyler Morton is also candidate for sale, with West Ham now showing interest in the midfielder.

Darwin Núñez reportedly favors a move to Napoli, with negotiations currently underway for a transfer fee estimated between €42–43 million.

Meanwhile, Federico Chiesa, whose 14 appearances made minimal impact, is set to return to Serie A.

AC Milan, Napoli, and Juventus are all said to be interested, with his market value assessed at around €15 million.

And another candidate for departure in Harvey Elliott is getting attention closer to home.

CaughtOffside have reported that Chelsea are among several clubs tracking Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

In 2023/24, Elliott was a regular presence, featuring in 53 matches and contributing 4 goals and 11 assists.

This past 2024/25 campaign, however, he has started just four matches in all competitions, logging only 583 minutes – a reduction of nearly 80% in starts compared to the previous year.

The midfielder, who also has drawn interest from Brighton and Aston Villa, is believed to be valued in excess of £40million.

The arrival of Florian Wirtz in a club-record £116 million deal has further pushed Elliott down the pecking order at Anfield, making a summer departure increasingly likely.

Other clubs said to have shown interest include Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and Borussia Dortmund

While Chelsea have joined the chase for another young talent, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool would sanction a sale to a direct top-four rival or instead deal with Brighton, where Elliott would likely receive more consistent playing time.
