Chelsea could be in line to complete the sales of seven “quality” players before the transfer window closes.
The Blues have had a busy summer already, bringing in the likes of Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, and Jorrel Hato.
It hasn’t just been a window of incomings at Stamford Bridge either, with a number of high-profile players leaving the club for big sums of money.
The sales of Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, and Djordje Petrovic, as well as multiple others, have raised over £200million in total for the West London side.
However, Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that the outgoings aren’t yet finished, and that Chelsea could still offload up to seven more members of their squad.

This article contains exclusive comment from Keith Wyness, former Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen CEO.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted that Enzo Maresca’s side won’t just be selling fringe players over the next week, with first-team stars set to depart for big money.

Nicolas Jackson has been linked with a Chelsea exit, with the likes of Aston Villa and Bayern Munich rumoured to be interested in a deal.
Wyness added that players like Christopher Nkunku and Tyrique George could also be leaving, along with Jackson.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “With Chelsea, I’ve been counting.
We’ve got Nicolas Jackson, we’ve got the Nkunku, we’ve got Tyrique George, Chukwuemeka, who came from Aston Villa, and Anselmino.
“As I say, it’s going to be a busy week at Stanford Bridge, along with so many other clubs, and these are not peripheral players; these are all quality players that are going to be going for decent deals.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea reportedly may be forced to accept a lower fee than their initial asking price for Raheem Sterling to sell the winger this summer.
That is the view of football finance expert Dan Plumley, who claims that there are a “number of factors” that need to be accounted for before the England international can be sold.
The Athletic reported on 22 July that Chelsea would be willing to accept offers of £20m for Sterling this summer.
But a month on, and with no bids forthcoming, Plumley told Football Insider exclusively that a buying club may only want to pay £10m for the winger.
