Sunderland players such as Chris Rigg were among those to share a reaction as the club announced another exit on social media.
Sunderland have enjoyed a busy summer transfer window in their return to the Premier League for the first time in nine years.
They started the season on a strong note, with Sunderland securing a 3-0 victory over West Ham whilst also beating Brentford.
Meanwhile, the recruitment has been active, as Regis Le Bris’ side has signed the likes of Granit Xhaka, Habib Diarra and Simon Adingra, among others
However, with the side now boasting a bloated squad, players have also had to leave, and the club announced an exit on social media.

Sunderland have announced that youngster Milan Aleksic has completed a loan move to Polish side KS Cracovia for the rest of the season.
The club announced his exit on Instagram, which saw reactions from Rigg and Luke O’Nien, who both liked the announcement.

The Polish transfer window is set to close on 8 September, allowing KS Cracovia to come in for the youngster.
Since joining Sunderland in 2024, Aleksic has made 10 senior appearances and scored one goal.
The Serbian has been deployed in multiple positions, featuring both in defence and in attacking midfield.
Aleksic is the latest in a number of departures this summer, following Nectarios Triantis’ move to Minnesota, Jobe Bellingham signing for Borussia Dortmund, and Patrick Roberts leaving on loan for Birmingham.

The club hierarchy have certainly backed Le Bris in the summer, as they have brought in 16 new players.
After spending over £180 million on new players across the squad, Sunderland’s spending was the seventh highest in Europe as a whole and Le Bris is under pressure to deliver results and avoid relegation.
The Black Cats are aiming to be the first promoted side to stay up after promotion in two seasons, and have so far started more positively than Burnley and Leeds with two wins in three.
