Inter Milan are reportedly looking at signing Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly as a replacement for Milan Skriniar, who has been named as a target for Liverpool. At least, that’s what Graeme Bailey has suggested on the .
The move comes amid reports of Inter’s current centre-back Skriniar being linked with a move to Liverpool, as the player’s agents have held talks with the club. Koulibaly himself is a proven defender at that level with a wealth of experience in Italy from his time at Napoli.
“It’s interesting that you mention Koulibaly, keep an eye on him as a potential long term replacement for Skriniar. Koulibaly is not having a good time in England with Chelsea and he is one Inter are considering,” Bailey said. The fact that Inter are already considering replacements for Skriniar suggests that the door is very much open for Liverpool to go out and get this player.
