Chelsea ace Cole Palmer is not satisfied with every aspect of life under Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge.
When the Blues lost 2-1 to Manchester United in their last Premier League game, Palmer was substituted off in the first half, thanks to an ongoing groin injury.
The 23-year-old was subsequently absent as the West London side defeated Lincoln City 2-1 in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, 23 September.

Before having to leave the action against Man United, Palmer was in great form, scoring against both Bayern Munich and Brentford.

Meanwhile, as revealed by Indy Kaila via X on Wednesday, 24 September, Palmer isn’t satisfied with his tactical role at Chelsea.
Palmer is an elite player whose talent was epitomised when he scored for England in their 2024 European Championship final defeat to Spain, while he also notched two goals and an assist in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over PSG in July’s Club World Cup final.

The 23-year-old also spearheaded the West London outfit’s comeback victory over Real Betis in May’s Conference League final triumph, providing further evidence that the Blues must rectify the situation.
While Chelsea face Brighton in their next Premier League game on Saturday, 27 September, they need Palmer to be both fit and in form sooner rather than later.
After their clash against the Seagulls, Maresca’s men host Benfica in their second Champions League outing, before facing defending Premier League champions Liverpool.
Chelsea’s clash with Benfica has become more important after they were beaten 3-1 by Bayern Munich in their last European fixture, while they already appear unlikely to beat Liverpool to top-flight glory.
