Conor Bradley could face a race to return from injury before the end of the season.

The Liverpool defender is expected to miss the rest of April after picking up an ankle injury against Crystal Palace.

The 20-year-old was forced off early on in the second half of Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at Anfield.



A tangle with Eberechi Eze led to Bradley having to be helped off the pitch by Liverpool’s medical team, with Trent Alexander-Arnold replacing him.

Speaking about the injury after the game, Jürgen Klopp said: "Conor overstretched his foot slightly.

The Northern Ireland international is expected to miss the next three weeks as a result.

That means he will certainly miss games against Atalanta, Fulham, Everton and West Ham, and potentially the first leg of the Europa League semi-final should Liverpool overturn its 3-0 deficit in Bergamo on Thursday.

The ECHO suggests a return against Tottenham on May 5 may not be out of the question though.

Liverpool.com says: Alexander-Arnold’s return couldn’t have come at a better time for Liverpool.

Bradley has enjoyed a real breakthrough season at Anfield, and he was certainly in line to play a big part in what remains of the season.

Hopefully he will be able to recover in time to play the final few games of the season.
