Liverpool were finally crowned Premier League champions on Sunday after a 5-1 win against Tottenham at Anfield.
The Reds managed to get the job done on Merseyside with Liverpool securing their second-ever Premier League title, with Arne Slot joining the impressive list of managers to become an English champion in first season in the country.
With Slot claiming that Liverpool had won the game when they pulled into Anfield, there was simply no way that the Reds were going to slip up against Tottenham, with the best players throughout the season all having a moment to shine on the day.
And Troy Deeney now thinks one Liverpool player has had his value increase by ten times what the Reds initially paid for him.

Speaking on TalkSport, the former Watford captain waxed lyrical about Alexis Mac Allister’s form for Liverpool this season, with Deeney saying that the midfielder ‘could be worth £400m’ for the Reds after his incredible year under Slot.
Jamie Redknapp likened Mac Allister to Steven Gerrard after the 26-year-old’s performance for Liverpool against Tottenham, with the Argentine international scoring a sensational goal to put the hosts ahead and on their way to a 5-1 win to the Premier League title.
And for Deeney, Mac Allister’s form has been sensational this season, with the pundit noting that Liverpool’s midfielder has encapsulated the work Slot has done with the club since being appointed last summer.

Deeney said: “When you look at the midfield, his [Slot’s] whole season has been encapsulated by that midfield three.
Ryan Gravenberch has been fantastic, he’s one of two players to play every game, and then there’s Alexis Mac Allister, who for £40m now looks like he could be worth £400m.”
When the end-of-season awards roll around in the coming weeks, the likes of Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk will be the two most likely Liverpool players to scoop up the biggest accolades due to their form this season.
Yet for supporters, Mac Allister has been as good as Liverpool’s two main superstars, with the former Brighton & Hove Albion man really coming into his own in a deeper midfield role under Slot playing alongside Ryan Gravenberch.
With Mac Allister wanted by Real Madrid, claims that the South American could be worth £400m might not be far from the truth, with the 26-year-old now one of the best in the world and a player that any team would love to have on their books.
