Liverpool fans have taken to social media to react to Mohamed Salah’s recent comments on his future, with the Egyptian winger seemingly committing to the Reds despite a lack of urgency on signing a new deal with the club.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, the former AS Roma attacker revealed that there have been no discussions about a new contract with the reigning Premier League champions, yet Salah reiterated his goal of wanting to win more silverware with Liverpool, with the winger saying: “I said before that I want to win the Premier League again, I want to win the Champions League again.

It’s a great thing to win, I’m just trying to win it again and again.

Part of our job is to win trophies.” The 28-year-old forward has just two years remaining on his current deal with Liverpool, and supporters on social media are hoping the club can tie the winger down to a new contract with Salah yet again proving to be one of the side’s best players this season.

Here’s what some Liverpool fans had to say about Salah’s comments on Twitter… Hope we keep him he's too good to let go off and has the winning mentality which is what we need for next season.

Salah once again sits as Liverpool’s top goalscorer this season, with the winger hitting 29 goals in all competitions so far this year.
