Andre Onana has made a final decision on where his future lies with the next 24 hours crucial for the goalkeeper.

Onana has been the subject of an exit from Manchester United throughout the summer, and Altay Bayindir has started all of the Red Devils’ opening three Premier League fixtures so far.

The 29-year-old has made just a solitary appearance in Man United’s League Cup defeat to Grimsby.

Man United have signed Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp to add further depth to their goalkeeping department, which has freed Onana to leave Old Trafford.

As reported by Ben Jacobs on X, with Alex Crook, a timeline has now been set by Trabzonspor for the arrival of Onana.

Trabzonspor reached a verbal agreement with Man United for Onana, and now the goalkeeper himself has accepted the move.

With the now expected departure of Onana to Turkey, Ruben Amorim will look to new signing Lammens to potentially take up the number one spot.

Bayindir has struggled in-between the sticks this season, with the Turkey international particularly struggling from set-pieces.

The 27-year-old is not a long-term solution to Man United’s goalkeeping problems and bringing in 23-year-old Lammens suggests Amorim is looking towards the future.

Amorim needs to settle on a preferred number one, and Lammens also needs to prove himself as a Premier League goalkeeper.

If Lammens does succeed at Man United then it could solve a major issue for Amorim for the long-term.
