The Eagles have made a strong start to the season, earning nine points from five games.
They remain unbeaten in the league, with two wins and three draws.
Liverpool, on the other hand, have won all five of their matches and top the table with 15 points.
Despite their perfect start, the Reds have often struggled against Palace, winning only two of their last seven encounters across all competitions.
Liverpool will be wary of the Eagles, especially after their recent Community Shield meeting, where Palace triumphed on penalties following a 2-2 draw at Wembley.
Crystal Palace may be without a key attacker for the clash.
In their victory over West Ham, which lifted them to fifth in the table, Yeremy Pino was forced off at half-time with an injury.
The winger has impressed since joining Palace from Villarreal over the summer, starting the past three matches.
Pino remains doubtful for Saturday’s game at Selhurst Park, leaving Palace to hope for his quick recovery ahead of the high-profile showdown.
Palace boss Glasner said: “He had pain in his knee.
“We don’t know exactly what it is, so we’ll assess him tomorrow, and I think we’ll have a scan.
“Hopefully it’s not too serious, but he couldn’t continue playing.”
Crystal Palace have been hit by injuries this season but welcomed Adam Wharton back into the starting lineup following a groin problem.
Palace have also been without Ismaila Sarr, who is expected to return to training this week after a hamstring injury, and Walter Benitez, alongside long-term absentees Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad.
Sarr is in contention for the home game against Liverpool, which will be a boost for Glasner.
Palace extended their unbeaten run to 17 games with a 2-1 victory over West Ham at the London Stadium.
