It's claimed that Crystal Palace has identified Club Brugge center-back Joel Ordonez as a potential target, while Marc Guehi remains subject to interest from Liverpool.

The Reds have initiated discussions with Palace regarding the England international, though the south London team is understood to be demanding significantly more than Liverpool is prepared to pay for a player entering his final year.

Mirror Football now reports that Ecuador international Ordonez features on the Eagles' shortlist, alongside continued interest in Sporting CP's Ousmane Diomande.

Meanwhile, Wednesday brought news that Arsenal is poised to scupper Tottenham's pursuit of Eberechi Eze.

As recently as Wednesday, Spurs appeared favourites to secure the winger after agreeing a fee.

However, the Gunners have made a last-minute move, and now Eze is scheduled to have his Arsenal medical on Friday.

"Most of you will be surprised that (Guehi and Eze) will start again tomorrow because of all the rumors," Glasner said ahead of Palace's Europa Conference League game on Thursday.

"But they are committed here and they will play a crucial part."

Glasner was also asked about Guehi seemingly ignoring him on the field after Palace's goalless draw against Chelsea last weekend.

"I've seen so much nonsense written about this," Glasner said

"Marc was upset that he didn’t win the game, and I loved this.

"It's the best sign that he could show of how ambitious we are."
