Crystal Palace summer arrival Jaydee Canvot has been backed to land the Eagles a three-fold profit when he eventually leaves Selhurst Park.
Oliver Glasner endured a somewhat difficult transfer window as former star man Eberechi Eze joined Arsenal, but Crystal Palace signed Canvot on deadline day.
The 19-year-old made 20 appearances for French Ligue 1 side Toulouse last term, and has represented France at Under-20 level.
Meanwhile, the Eagles were left relieved as captain Marc Guehi’s move to Liverpool collapsed on Monday, 1 September.

By selling England international Eze to fellow London club Arsenal, Crystal Palace made £68million.
Meanwhile, as revealed by talkSPORT on Friday 29 August, the Selhurst Park club spent £23m on new boy Canvot.
European football expert Julien Laurens told BBC Radio 5 Live’s Euro Leagues podcast on Thursday, 4 September: “Centre-back, just turned 19 in July, wonderful talent.

“Was very good for Toulouse in Ligue 1, can play defensive midfielder as well.
“Obviously it’s very early in his career, this is a big step-up for him to leave Ligue 1 to come to the Premier League so early, but he’s got huge potential, so I think he’s a really good signing from Crystal Palace and, not surprisingly, because there was a few clubs around Europe who were keeping an eye on him because he showed so many good promises for Toulouse last season.
“It’s easily one that you can see Palace selling him for three times the price they paid this summer.”

While the defender’s summer move to Anfield collapsed, Liverpool could sign Guehi in January as they vie to win their second consecutive Premier League title.

Furthermore, the 25-year-old is available on a free transfer next summer and will rightfully believe that he can play for a more prestigious club than Crystal Palace next term.
Meanwhile, after joining Glasner’s men from Toulouse this summer, Canvot could initially struggle for Premier League game time, thanks to the presence of talented defenders Guehi, Maxence Lacroix, and Chris Richards.
However, the Eagles’ upcoming Carabao Cup fixture with South London rivals Millwall, as well as their Conference League campaign, should see the teenager earn minutes.
Additionally, once Guehi leaves Selhurst Park, Canvot’s potential indicates that he should be an ideal replacement for the former Chelsea man.
After successfully beating Aston Villa 3-0 last time out, Crystal Palace will fancy their chances of beating Sunderland in the Premier League on 13 September.
