Liverpool have always been known for their attacking talent and they have had their fair share of quality number nines.
The Reds may not have had the success in the Premier League that they once had before the competition started, but they have often possessed a quality striker to lead the line for them.
Now it is Hugo Ekitike, but in the past they have had the likes of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, two players who formed a lethal partnership.
However, despite the latter seeing Suarez up close and personal week after week, he does not think the Uruguayan is the best finisher Liverpool have ever had.
In fact, Sturridge believes that a player the Reds sold for just £8m was actually better, although Liverpool fans might not be too happy with who he said.
Suarez is widely regarded as one of the best, if not the best, strikers Liverpool have had in the Premier League era, with his goal compilation one to revel in.
The Uruguayan had it all and was one of the most clinical finishers about, and if he stayed a little longer, he might have had an even better legacy.
One striker who definitely ruined his, however, was Michael Owen, with the Englishman leaving for Real Madrid before eventually returning to the Premier League, this time for Man United.

“You can’t disrespect.
When a man wins the Ballon d’Or at the club, it’s like, alright, do your thing.”
He went on to have Suarez as the second best finisher, himself at three, Torres at four and Salah at five, a ranking that will certainly cause a lengthy debate among fans.
Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion and that is the beauty of football, although if you were to rank it based on numbers, Salah would very likely be at the top.
The Egyptian has scored 187 Premier League goals, not only making him Liverpool’s top goalscorer since it began in 1992, but the joint-fourth highest the league has ever seen.
Statistics like that are hard to overlook, especially as he is not even a striker, making that achievement even more remarkable.
Either way, one thing is for sure is that Liverpool have had some elite finishers throughout their history, and many more could still be added to the conversation.
