Darwin Nunez has arrived in Portugal as Liverpool prepare to bid an emotional farewell to Diogo Jota.
The Uruguay international was pictured arriving at Capela da Ressurreicao in Gondomar on Friday evening for the public wake of Jota and his brother Andre Silva.
Jota and his 26-year-old sibling, who played for Portuguese side Penafiel, died on Thursday (July 3) after a tyre blew out on their car, resulting in a crash when attempting to overtake on the A52, known as the Palacios de Sanabria, according to local police.
The bodies of both footballers were returned to their native Portugal on Thursday evening ahead of a wake today and then a funeral service at Igreja Matriz de Gondomar (the Mother Church of Gondomar) tomorrow (Saturday, July 5).
