Clarity of Liverpool's next transfer dealings has increased with an agreement now in place for the sale of Darwin Nunez.
If complete, the Reds will make an attacking replacement their priority and so far Alexander Isak has been the biggest recipient of interest.
As the ECHO reported this Thursday, Liverpool have settled to sell Nunez to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal in return for €53m (£46.3m) plus bonuses.
The 26-year-old expressed desire to leave this summer, personal terms are agreed, and permission has been granted to undergo a medical to finalise proceedings.
Anfield chiefs have two specific criteria when it comes to fixing a replacement - they must be of quality and confidence to be a starter in Arne Slot's team and they must be available for what the club will deem fair market value.

As a seasoned Premier League goalscorer, Isak could stake a claim for a place in the Reds' line-up but so far a club-record £110m offer has been turned down, with his club potentially seeking a British-record fee.
If Liverpool did manage to agree a deal for the Newcastle star, the perfect welcome gift looks to soon be on offer.
Having initially handed temporary squad numbers to summer 2025 signings, Liverpool have now confirmed those that the early arrivals will wear during their Anfield careers.
Most notably Florian Wirtz took the No.7 shirt left unoccupied when Luis Diaz completed a transfer to Bayern Munich.

Now a repeat could happen soon with the No.9, with Nunez all set to vacate and Isak still with the potential to complete his cross-Premier League switch.
Isak currently wears the No.14 at Newcastle, which at Liverpool would be unavailable to him because Federico Chiesa is already registered.
But the Magpies star does take the No.9 whenever he goes on international duty for Sweden and it is clearly a number he cherishes.
In a BBC Sport interview hosted by former Newcastle frontman Alan Shearer, he asked Isak whether he would like to take the No.9 at St.
But, on the other hand, I know the number nine is a special shirt for the fans," Isak responded.
And if moving to Liverpool, Isak would recognise there being a historic line of famous No.9's such as Roberto Firmino, Fernando Torres, Robbie Fowler and Ian Rush that he could follow on from.
