Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez has agreed to join Atletico Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
The Uruguayan has had an indifferent career at Anfield and hasn't quite managed to reach the heights that his £85million move promised.
The former Benfica forward has attracted interest from the Saudi Pro League, most recently as the winter transfer window, which the Reds rebuffed as they went in search of a second Premier League crown.
After finding his gametime limited and failing to cement a starting berth in Arne Slot's starting 11, it has been suggested that Nunez is looking increasingly likely to move on to new pastures in the summer.
According to Cadena SER, Atletico have held talks with the 25-year-old, who has reportedly already signalled his intention to join the LaLiga outfit.

It has been claimed that everything has been agreed from the attacker's perspective, while a deal with Liverpool is yet to be struck.
Nunez still has three years remaining on his contract but is attracting a wrath of possible suitors.
Serie A side Napoli are also said to be in the hunt.

With Nunez's playing time diminishing in recent weeks, reports of an exit have ramped up.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Saudi Pro League clubs were pushing to sign Nunez following failed efforts in January.
Fabrizio Romano sparked the claim, adding that Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota were also the subject of transfer enquiries.
The ECHO reported previously that Nunez's time appears to be drawing to a close after barely featuring for the Reds on course to their Premier League triumph.
The Saudi Pro League enquired about the prospect of signing the 25-year-old at the beginning of the year, which were rejected, but the Reds are likely to be more receptive to offers in the summer.
Al-Hilal are said to be ready to step up their efforts to sign Nunez when the window opens next Sunday, in order to have the forward at their disposal for the Club World Cup.
