Liverpool won’t let Nunez go on the cheap.
But Napoli are serious.
With Romelu Lukaku expected to lead the line, adding Nunez would give Conte real options up front.
Former Serie A striker Francesco Caputo believes Nunez wouldn’t just be riding the bench.
“He is the profile of an international-level striker… I think he could even play alongside Lukaku because they have different skill sets,” Caputo told Radio Kiss Kiss.
Conte’s plans clearly struck a chord with Nunez.
With De Bruyne pulling the strings and Nunez possibly joining Lukaku up front, Napoli might just have found their new goal-den trio.
