Darwin Nunez 'liked' an Instagram post from Federico Chiesa after the Italian shared a picture of him celebrating Liverpool's Premier League title win on the Anfield turf over the weekend.
The post, which was shared before Monday's horrific parade incident, featured images of Chiesa lifting the trophy in front of the Kop, while joined by his wife as well as other family members and friends.
Despite the pictures being taken in front of the Kop, the post was accompanied by the caption: "Anfield Road".
Chiesa and Nunez are both facing uncertain futures at the club after disappointing individual campaigns: Chiesa barely played following his transfer from Juventus last summer, while Nunez tallied just seven goals in all competitions.

Despite Chiesa's struggles, he has become something of a cult hero among supporters, so much so that he has been given a catchy chant, which fans have been belting out around the country in recent weeks.
Sang to the tune of ‘Sway’ by Dean Martin, the chant goes: "We can hear them crying in Turin; Federico, he’s here to win; one chat with Arne Slot and he said 'ciao; f--- off Juve, I’m a Kopite now!'”
Chiesa was asked about the chant as he spoke to club media during Liverpool's open-top bus parade.

Chiesa was viewed as an opportunistic buy from Juventus last summer, as a player who was once valued by the Turin club at over $100 million was made available for a fraction of that price.
Liverpool signed Chiesa for $13 million plus $3 million in possible add-ons, with the Euro 2020 winner keen to get his career back on track after a couple of underwhelming years in Serie A.
Chiesa has not been the same player since sustaining a serious knee injury during the 2021-22 season, and the move to Anfield has not provided the boost that he would have been hoping for.
