Darwin Nunez has been responding to every message from his former Liverpool teammates on social media, following the confirmation of his transfer to Al-Hilal over the weekend.
After three years at Liverpool, during which he made 143 appearances and netted 40 goals, Nunez has bid farewell to the club.
"Everybody at the club would like to thank Darwin for his contributions and wish him and his family all the best for the future."
Several of Nunez's ex-teammates sent him messages on social media, to which the Uruguay striker has since replied via his Instagram stories.
In response to Ibrahima Konate, he wrote: "Thank you so much, I miss you hermanito (little brother)."

Nunez responded to Stefan Bajcetic in Spanish, which translates to: "Brother, I will miss you and thanks for those chats we had in the gym, wishing the best for you."
To Gakpo, Nunez replied: "Thank you brother, all the best for you."
"Hermano (brother), thank you, all the best to you," he said in response to Harvey Elliott.
"Andy, my brother, thank you so much, I'm going to miss your jokes," Nunez expressed about Andy Robertson.
Regarding Curtis Jones, the forward stated: "My friend, you're an incredible person, always trying to make me smile with your jokes

Thank you for everything," followed by a love heart.
Nunez posted an emotional message to Liverpool fans on social media on Sunday.
"Thank you, Liverpool," he wrote on X
