Darwin Nunez has shared a heartwarming family update as rumours surrounding his Liverpool FC exit begin to mount.

The 26-year-old Uruguayan has fallen out of favour under Arne Slot at Anfield and started just one Premier League game in 2025 as the Reds went on to win the the club's 20th league title.

It has been a busy summer for the Reds so far as the club have signed Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt and are heavily linked to a move for Alexander Isak.



Fabrizio Romano has reported Nunez is a target for Saudi Pro League side, Al-Hilal.



Reports in the Middle East have claimed Al-Hilal are targeting Nunez and have opened talks with the player and his representatives regarding a move.

However, the ECHO reported today that Liverpool have not yet received an official approach from any team in the Saudi Pro League this summer for the Uruguay international.

As speculation continues to mount on his future, Nunez has shared a family update from his life away from the pitch.

Nunez's partner has taken to Instagram today to share an update from their happy family life.

She shared a snap of their young daughter, Isabella, who was born in February.

She captioned the post: "Hola papa." Nunez reshared the post alongside a heart emoji.

Nunez announced he'd become a dad for the second time in a heartfelt update in February.

He shared a snap of his newborn's hand alongside the caption: "Our dream girl!."

With regards to Nunez's footballing future, the only bid the Reds have received this summer has came from Napoli.

Napoli subsequently ended their interest and instead signed Italy international Lorenzo Lucca from Udinese.

Liverpool turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia for Nunez in January given they did not want to break up a squad that at the time was still challenging for honours on four fronts.
